Sinking drivers seat

I've read back through old posts and find the problem of non electric drivers seats sinking is an age old thing.
Having slummed it down to an XS from the trusty but ageing HSE I find the problem still exists, why havnt they fixed it yet, or is it just me ????

It just seems to be a design fault. It is nearly impossible to get into the seat without depressing the seat lever with one's backside. And particularly bad when getting in at off road height.

Try jamming the lever with a piece of wood or something and you'll find the problem goes away. Not elegant, but true all the same.
