Just so that you are aware ZF (at least in the UK) do not recognise this modification so you are doing it at your own risk.
Having said that if you let me know the ZF numbers of what you are looking at and I will compare themPaul Redding

The only reason i suggested the ford options was when I looked on ZF.com web site under ZF Parts Oil change kits for automatic transmissions for PC, its listed the same part number for both ford TERRITORY, XR6, XR8 and Discovery 3, Part number (8700 252)
I also found a kit quoted as for a Land Rover Discovery 3 4 Range Rover Sport Transmission Filter Kit - Modified , Metal Part Number: LR007474MTL, which costs $410 aus.
The only comments in the ebay listing for the one for $210 is that it fits all Ford 6 Speed ZF 6HP26 Automatic Transmissions from 2005 to Present (BF to FG & Territory).
Don't know if all of that make sence

I have the standard ZF composite transmission sump with integral filter available from stock now for anyone interested.
Or you can have the metal replacement
The metal sump is somewhat easier to fit and means in future you can replace the filter only. It is sold as a sump + filter + bolts + gasket ZF reference 1068 103 820
Forum price is £155 plus £7.95 delivery within the UK, please PM or show your interest here, I am not putting this on our website just yet as I only ordered a small amount today to test the water, but can get more.
I know the post is really old but could you quote me your current price for sending me the replacement metal sump kit to Oman? Is it feasible to air freight oils? If so a quote for that too would be great.
Thanks

No airfreight for oils at all. Would have thought Oman has enough
The sump kit is £155.00, Freight would be £80.00 (Although you can remove the 20% VAT from the sump kit price)Paul Redding

I did my pan and there is no reason to change the sleeve unless its leaking and I have never known one to leak yet..
Just change the sump pan and make sure that you use a gasket sealent, I had a couple of bolts that leaked down the threads but this was soon rectified with some more sealant in the threads:
So would I just put gasket sealant on the bolt threads or should a bead be put on either/both of the mating surfaces?
