EPB issues solved
hi guys after rushing an adjustment on the rear epb shoes I caused a lot of work for myself .
I didn't do the 2 step adjustment by undoing the Allen bolt I had an issue with the epb shortly after .
So it threw up the inop epb fault and turns out it damaged one of the gears inside the module.
So stripping out the cables and module I rebuiltit and refit it .
Still no dice and I had to open up the module again this time I did it in situ .
This is the easier method and involves removing the mounting plate for the module an turning the module 180 to face the rear of the motor its then possible to work on it even sat on the drive .
Only thing now is I've lost one of the retaining pins for the shoes.
Does anyone know every I can get the kit or a pin tomorrow.
I'm based in rossendale in lancs.
Cheers guys
Regards Baz

I have some pins but not much good being down in South Derbyshire.
That's not going to be easy on a Sunday. I guess you could ring around your local motor factors?

I think that screw and spring are to long and will foul the brake drum It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
