Is the modem required for sat nav? I know I could download the maps prior to getting on the road, but was wondering if the Nexus 7 or like android tablet would need to be connected via the/a modem for adjusting routing on the fly?
Anyone know if this could be tethered to an android phone, to be able to do routing on the fly? 2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic
