trailer Brake lights

Have a problem with trailer lights. A 7.5 amp and a 5 amp were blown in the rear NS fuse box so I replaced them , all lights working on trailer except brake lights. anyone any suggestions as to why ? the car brake lights work ok and I check the trailer board on another car and they worked on it. is there another fuse for brake lights ? the two 5 amp fuses are for the two trailer indicators and the two 7.5 amp fuses are for the trailer side lights, no fuse for brake lights?

any help welcome
