Okay not strictly D3 related but taking my D3 to Morocco has got me thinking about it...

The free policy I get with one my bank accounts is a bit limited, any recommendations for where to get decent cover from?

Cheers Matt, I was going to look on there but I'm really looking for recommendations rather than just getting the best value cover. They cover most of the big players but doesn't tend to deal with the companies that specialise in such things

Don't know if www. insure & go. Do as you ask. I've found them good to deal with and quite reasonable too

Whoever you get a quote with send them a recored letter explaining what you will be doing even if they say it's covered when speaking on the phone. BTW might not mention that 10 is going with you - premium would double! Wink
Loving the power of the TDV8!

You might want to checkout that they are clear that you are going off-road.....there also may be additional premiums & specific clauses if what you are doing is considered an 'event'...

Have you had to take out fresh, specific, or declare your expedition on the vehicle insurance?

And re. the travel insurance, as suggested by others above, do check the small print on the policies as to what you are or are not covered by, especially what they call activies, and what they exclude. Grannies and eggs I know, but better safe than Crying or Very sad

I've extended my vehicle insurance to Morocco to cover our 'adventure safari'

£19.49 for 16 days cover sounds a lot, I was thinking of getting an annual policy that'd cover me for next years trips too Confused

Insureandgo seem to be as good if not better than anything else I could find so I've bought an Annual 'Black' policy for £60, covers Moroccco and Iceland so should be good for a couple or trips Very Happy
