I received mine about 2 week ago, (Christmas gift from my dad - Frans@Yamorna )
Installed and very happy, I just personally do not like the display, but it serves the purpose as TPMS very well 2007 TDV6 SE auto (ex Write off)

I've had my DigiTire TPMS-201-S (ON/OFF road) for a year now with NO hassles at all. Time includes month long trip through Kgalagadi [Botswana side - including rutted roads to Tshabong - Mabu and Hukuntsi] and South Western desert sections of Namibia. The switch to low pressure driving and back again - worked a treat. Saved a tire - General Grabber AT2's on 18" rims.
Dealt directly with DBN based supplier - his contact details available on the Digitire SA website. Never be afraid to try something new ...

The valves keep leaking and then it tells me it is leaking
SO it WORKS - it just creates the problem to report on.
The problem the screws inside that keeps the valve in place were loose ... a screw problem ... they are now tight
Anybody else with this problem ?
Was mine just shoddy installed ?

I personally installed ave system valves on D3 here in Uk and D3 in SA none of what you described! Did you ensure the locknut was inplaced? I only struggle with how to explain to retired owner in SA( notech generation or isit because we are family) how to re-learn wheel sensor after he destroyed the 2nd pirelli Zero on notoriouse gravel roads. After only traveling 2000km since the last, obviously ave system would have prevent this if only he did set it up proparly. A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

have you seen the new one launched by LR at the caravan show this year. Was staying out last Thursday and bumped in to a couple of chaps from Tyreline, Daventry who had been given a loaner 90 swb from LR and a single axle trailer hooked up to a replacement rear view mirror witch has an integrated reversing camera and tyre monitor for the towing vehicle and its trailer. Quick demostration in the car park allows you to monitor all from the corner of the mirror and also add the sensors to addition trailers/caravans.
Apparently it can be retro-fitted to all LR and costs around £650 plus vat for the kit

Nico, yes, the valves must be installed correctly and checked for leaks before the wheel is fitted to the car.It is clear in the instructions. The valves (monitors) will not work lose by it self if initially installed correct. The Digityre works the same .The valves should not develop leaks afterwards.
