Did you get here from a dealer just outside York "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

Is it just me, or is it April 1st
Sorry if i am wrong chap, but "Just Bought", is that not an 09 plate on the front of that vehicle?
And the left wiper seems to have moved a bit more to the left when you open the bonnet, with the middle one either disappearing or now not being at the same height as the left one
I also figure a V8 engine cover would have eight lines on the top of the cover not six, and whats the big cut out on the right for?
A notch in the front to clear the fan housing would seem more useful

Sorry to all those none believers but this is a genuine 5ltr normally aspitated petrol V8 D4. I went to see it at the dealers with intention of buying her but getting her insured was a slight issue as according to the insurers LR dont make such a vehicle
Well they do but not usually for the UK market - other than this one "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

Well at least i got my apology in first GREENI
To be fair the front part of the engine cover in the picture does look a bit Photo Shopped
And although the wipers appear to go to different locations with the bonnet closed than they seem to arrive at with your engine bay picture, this is an illusion, as afterwards as shown in this picture
the arms do actually have different curves that set the middle one higher and the other more offset to the side.
And as DT states, there are indeed eight spaces created by 6 lines.
So i guess just like everybody else I am certainly GREENI with envy
She is definitely a beut and you have every right to be proud.
BTW, what is the reason for the cut out in the engines top cover to the right?
That cut-out is for the oil filler cap. Can't really see from the angles on the photos posted. I'm loving the V8 in mine and it makes some cool sounds when you get on it.
