Don’t forget that memory isn’t just for seats, it’s for the mirrors and a number of smaller selections (miles/Km being one, although that one is software driven).
Without looking I can’t be sure but suspect your missing wire is for me mirror memory.
You may be correct. My mirrors don't move with memory recall. However they are basic electric mirrors, ie no power fold. So it could be that they can't be connected to memory anyway?
What confuses me is that pin 7 in the green connector to memory switch pack C3560 is wired through to the seat C2368 in your instructions to Famousfive, so how would that activate mirrors?
Cheers,
Scott

Pin 7 in C3560 is not connected to the memory switch pack and the pin 2 of seat connector C2363 seems to be not used.
So I think this wiring diagram explains why my memory settings are functional but I'm not sure re the mirrors.

Not sure what to make of these faults, detected for both passenger and driver (photo only of driver ones). Come back once cleared. Also discovered that the Reverse Dip doesn't work properly.
What's strange is that the mirrors function perfectly just using the switch pack but mirrors don't move either for Reverse Dip or Memory. Not sure if attempting Reverse Dip or Memory is triggering the faults.
Fresh out of ideas what to do to try and figure this out now ...... happy that the Memory Seat works but would love to get the mirror side of things as well.

Yes - rear heated seat loom always there (well it was there on my base spec GS). Its taped away in the body loom running along the sills - but once connected in and you have the controls and CCF updates its one of the easier (and most popular with the kids) upgrade.

Ok - this is what the loom looks like
you'd have to hunt down the sill and it'll be wrapped and taped in foam but it'll be there
For the media upgrade yes I put a MY16 setup in my 2013 car but if you are talking about your 2010 car I think you could only go as far as 2012 kits before the rotary dial and changes to the looms and IAM ...Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Got this working today. Seat out, trim moved back and found connections by the RH Pillar:

(recognise your blade Chris )
Wired into them my new loom that comes from the brown seat connector and hey-presto an HSE seat fully working in a GS car without stuttering
Waiting on door memory module to test that that part works (can't see why it won't) and once in my lowly GS will be full HSE spec now (bar sunroof) .
All thanks to help from the forum - cheers all
Read with interest - can you fit HSE seats into an XS but not really fussed about the seat memory. Would the passenger seat need wiring modification or is it simply plug and play?
Drivers seat - plug and play but get 1 second burst or do I need to modify and still get 1 second bursts?
To get continuous movement the need to find the wires in the sill plus a 1 pin or 2?
Where does one obtain the correct pins and what wiring (wires) do I need to order?
Thanks in advance.

Jacks without seeing your wiring loom its hard to say but I'd think that the seats should be plug and play passenger side will be for sure the drivers side would at worst be 1second burst movement, as written in this thread you will also need to upgrade the HVAC (Heater Controls) unit for heated seats to work as well as updating the CCF files.D4 GS let the retro fit begin

Thanks for your reply.
Think trying to get the drivers side to work smoothly is above my skill set!! How do you figure out the correct wires in the sill amongst that lot?! Much respect to those that can do it.
I did watch the Powerful UK video on the drivers seat but there seemed a few wires to cut and add just to get the short burst.
Just need to work out how to remove existing seats first....
Also need @M3Bobby to reply about the pin needed for the facelift door mirror upgrade..

Thought I’d revive this thread rather than start a new one!
I’ve fitted leather memory seats in my MY14 GS, have the one second bursts as was mentioned at the beginning, I know that’s related to the brown plug and I’m sure that’s a job I could easily tackle, especially as when got the seats, it had the wiring loom attached with enough length to reach the sills, that’s the brown plug and wires sorted..
When I compared the wiring with the seat and the wiring in the car, I only have 3 pins/wires missing, the 2 brown ones and one wire in the green plug (im sure it was the green one) and everything else was there, what would the missing wire in the green plug be for? And would that likely mean that the wiring for the door switch pack is already in place? I got the door switch pack with the seats also but haven’t had chance to have the door card off to swap it
