Hi everyone,
since a few weeks now I am the proud owner of a 2006 Disco 3 . I have sourced a Thermo Call TC3 unit from Germany that finally arrived today after some delay due to extreme weather .
I have spent some time reading on this forum and elsewhere about fitting a remote or timer to control my FBH and have the following question:
Where on the TC3 do I connect the cable that goes to Pin 2 on the FBH control plug?
Hope that you can help me so that I can fit this during the next weekend...

Hi,
do I understand right for the TC3 :
Pin 1 (10-30v + in) to Battery plus
Pin 2 (GND) to Battery minus
Pin 6 (W-Bus) to Pin 2 of the Webasto unit
The picture https://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/us...e~149.jpeg shows it nicely . unfortunately I can not see where the green connector is going to , blue goes to 6 , red goes to 1 , but the green one ? I assume its 2 , correct?
That´s all ? Is this correct ?

Just for those who still struggle as I (noob) did :
TC3 ("D" series)
Pin 1 to battery plus (red cable)
Pin 5 to battery minus (brown cable)
Pin 6 to Bus input ( input 2 in the 8 wire socket in the heater) - check the wiki how to connect the plug and the socket
App:
-no external temp sensor used - app on "internal sensor"
-make sure to only use the last 7 digits of your phone number for installing - I had an error because of using the complete one
- it works - just sends me the message "unknown error" to the phone - but works . will see how to get this sorted . Tomorrow i will built it in properly incl. the red light button which I will bring to some place in the inside,,,... nur tote fische schwimmen mit dem strom ...

Hi, it has been many years since the last post in this thread.
I have not found any step-by-step TC3/4 installation guide for D3 from anywhere which is a pity.
It would have been nice if someone actually wrote it up here.
I have been offered a TC4 for my D3. I have read the TC4 manual and surprisingly it does not actually describe the whole installation process.
The manual does say that the GSM module needs to be installed inside the cabin. So how have you solved it?
Also, why connecting it directly to the battery, when Altox at the same time gets installed behind the cabin headlight switch, wires connecting to a ground wire and to a always on 12V wire.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
