wheel weight ratings (NOT TYRES)

So.... we've probably done the tyre weight rating to death, yes 111 as a minimum, but this would equate to a car weight of almost 4400kg (which I think puts it into Tacho teritory).

But, what is the weight rating of the alloys. I've just seen an RRS 20" alloy that has 900kg stamped in the back.

Anybody got a D3 18" or 19" (not RR or RRS) to see what they have on them.

cheers
Al

If you look on the top left it gives recommended load ratings 111 and 110 then it says minimum 109. Confused
I am happy to go by the label. Very Happy

I think you should not forget that while offroading, there is several occasion where only 2 wheel have to support the whole weight of the car...this means that on those occasion, the pressure on the wheel is aprox 1350 kg...
