Wireless reverse camera kit with extra tow camera
This kit has just been introduced to me by Ring Automotive
Straight forward wiring - 2 Wires to the reverse light to activate the camera and then plug in to Aux at the front or hard wire if you want to earth and switched live. Camera is fitted with DS tape to the rear of the number plate so an easy fix. We have identical ones that I have fitted to our vans that cost us more than this, so a good price I believe.
Kit would be £88 inclusive of VAT with one camera, the monitor can also cope with a second camera, perhaps to be fitted to the caravan? Extra camera is £38
Not stocked yet today, just seeing if there is interest and if so will order in (next day delivery to us anyway)

Camera would work just the same off the Caravan reverse lights, I could get a kit in and set it upon my desk with a few battery connections if you wanted to see the screen options. No idea how to integrate into the Sat Nav screen but it may be possible, they also sell wireless modules that may work as a GVIF feed, but that is beyond my knowledge!Paul Redding

Looks like a sensibly priced solution for towing the caravan, only question being quality of reception over the distance as already mentioned?

Camera TX distance listed as 100m in open space.
I think this will be the difference between something from Ring to an ebay special, no doubt all made in China but my experience with Ring is that they are fussy.

Ah the Price is 0.00 until you select the option you need then when you add it to basket the correct price will appear.
Minimal wiring, You need to wire to the reverse light to activate the camera, the monitor can be plugged in to an aux port or you can cut the plug off and hard wire if you want it in all of the time, this is what we have done on our vans here. If you cut the plug off add an inline fuse please.Paul Redding

although it would need to transmit a decent picture from the rear of an 8m cvan to front of D4
previous ones ive bought have had a lot of interference and poor picture quality Duncan
