Xenon bulb failure-UPDATE
Only one headlight low beam came on tonight. When I arrived home and checked the near side is completely out. Is this 'normal' for a xenon globe? I'm not relishing the cost of a replacement from the stealer.
I took the car to the dealer and they fixed it for the cost of the globe. Because of the bull bar they had to access the light in situ. I tried and failed, wjhich is just as well as the globe had exploded and they had to suck out the bits of remaining glass. The bulb and ignition unit is a single piece, hence the price of $430. I got a discount and it cost me 300.
Thanks to Ian from hids4u for his offer of help with the globe.

try swapping the bulbs over. it could be a bulb or a sudden death might well be a ballast or bad connection or even fuse
we sell new bulbs for approx 70 gbp

Check the connector in the back. Had this, the connector was loose and just clicked in.
