Xonrich android headunit
Hi,
recently i bought a D3 that came with the original satnav screen. Since i wanted to have a nice and updated navigation system i order a Andrdoid head unit from Xonrich/Smoonavi (https://shorturl.at/cgvI6).
Im strougling a bit with two major topics:
1 - Audio: From what i could understand, audio would play only in AUX mode. From the radio, i could wire the two RCA cables with "AUX lables" to the back AUX port that is available in the passangers row.. No sound.. i tested the port it self with a smart phone and its working... meaning its the radio that isnt output. Any hints?
EDIT: just fixed… I was connecting the AUX IN from head unit.. my bad
2 - About CAN BUS. THe head unit bring a CAN interface and there is one app with Car Info. Im not getting any information displayed. I could see that i can choose the CAN BUS type but there is no option (amoung several options) for Land Rover or Discovery 3.... Any hint of the type of can bus used by Land Rover?
Thanks in advance for your support

1. If you removed the old headunit. I think you need to disconnect the green wires to the amp under the seat. And connect the new headunit to these green speaker wires.

I just removed the SatNav. I understood now that I was connecting the AUX IN from the head unit to the AUX of the car… so point 1 is now solved. Just fixed and tested now.
Now, missing the second point..

Yeah you won’t get any data off the old display connector
CANBUS.
You maybe more successful using the LR headunit connector can bus.

You said in your post that there wasn't an option for it, unless it has a harness that connects to the factory loom you wont get any data.
Last time i looked at these they only used the aux input for audio connection.

Just had a look at the website, is it ending from the CAN bus or via an OBDII Dongle plugged into the ODBII Port?
Also this picture not their page made me smile
