No Sound / SatNav / Light on MOST network at TMC or Bluetoot
Ive lost sound and satnav in 2007 discovery 3. Just before it happened it kept saying phone attached, phone not attached. So I got myself a MOST loop and started at the bluetooth module but i can't see a light visible at either the orange fibre connectors of the tmc or bluetooth. Where is the source , where should i start my tracing journey?

Whats puzzling me is the satnav screen just displays the landrover symbol , is that part of the most network or can bus?

Ok there is light at the radio back on one of the two lines with i am assuming the one without light is the return to make the circle . So what order should i check ? where next to hunt for the light? as there is no light at the TMC or Bluetooth I am assuming i have a component before them failed or a bend or break.
Any help appreciated in the order to check from the radio i have the MOST bypass loop .... Can slowly being dismantled.
Regards
Chris

Yahooooooooo!!!!
When i bypass the amp under the drivers seat i get light at the bluetooth and tmc so assume its the amp that is bust. Anything i can do to test the amp , I've looked at fuses.

it made it back and has been amazing , 109k and my fault the sunroof drain has left water into drivers side which i am now beginning to think is the main issue. The amp on mine is harmon kardon logic 7.
This is the latest part of the puzzle.
1) Light at radio
2) Light at amp --> but no light at TMC.
3) put bypass loop on amp --> light at TMC but no light at bluetooth
now only having one bypass loop .. Im stuffed.
Multimeter battery has leaked and bust that but it seems very coincidental to lose amp and tmc on same side as the water leak,
open to any suggestions... anyone want a cheap disco 3 ? preferably someone who is deaf or hates music and likes maps

Satnav and bluetooth and tmc working ( fuse 52p blown )
There is no power to the AMP ( grey connector ) but using the MOST bypass loop the satnav, tmc and bluetooth works.
Any suggestions on where to look for what is causing no power to the harmon logic 7 amp under the drivers seat? I've checked fuse 53,58,52,42
what would prevent power to big amp?

amp power should come from fuse 42 ..so double check that (check power at fuse side aswell )
also take the earth from somewere other than the amp when checking the red + wire on the ampG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks wiggs i used a 12v circuit tester both sides of fuse and it lit up both sides also swapped 30amp 42 with 46 30amp still no 12v to the connector to the amp in pic above with engine running , radio on, volume turned up . ( earth was taken from door screw and tested with wire that had 12v)
whats the next step do i take seat out and track wire back ? am i looking for a break in the loom? or do i just try and bring 12v to the amp from another source?
On the plus side I've sorted the drain tube , satnav and bluetooth just the sound to go!! probably out of my depth now!
Thanks for the advice.
Regards
Chris

Fixed it ! finally
Thank you to all who helped. For anybody facing a similar issue heres what i learnt.
Root Cause : The drivers side sunroof drain tube had come away at the elbow joint at the bulkhead. This led to water leaking onto the electrical connector and corroding the pins until it was no more this led to no power to the amp which means the orange fibre optic ring is broken and bluetooth, TMC and anything else in the ring didnt work. I had a second issue which was a blown fuse 52 5 amp which meant the satnav didn't work.
Learnings & the info together in one place ( from an office worker, this may be known to most ) :
You can push white net curtain wire through the elbow joint coming out the air intake into the bulkhead. Then push a tube over it and pull it back through. We now have new pipe drain without tears and bloodshed.
A most bypass loop is cheap to buy and allows you simply to isolate the component that isn't working. Thanks to flack i started at the radio which is the source , did amp next under front drivers seat, then tmc , then bluetooth both behind drivers side boot trim.
A 12c circuit tester is very quick and easy way to test fuses and trace if a wire has live current. It beat using the multimeter. Ive never used one before but its a godsend.
lastly the dash , seats , trim everything comes apart really easily don't be afraid to give it a go.
