Sunroof leak and random wire in the footwell....
Hi all
Whilst trying to locate and fix the usual water in the footwell malarky i noticed this wire hanging loose...
Any ideas what it may be, its a very small thin grey wire just hanging below the glove box? There is no obvious place for it to go and I've not noticed any dubious electrical faults?
In another note I'm struggling to get the carpet up in the passenger side..... I've done the usual clear the pipes which has certainly helped drain the water away now but the pipe that goes into the front passenger wheel arch is bone dry. The gland that holds the main wiring loom seemed to be acting as a drain so the leak is further up. I suspect its the elbow that I've seen on here on another thread.
More investigation required!

hi mate, while looking for a leak in mine a while back, i too had that wire hanging down, so for us both to have it makes me feel better

I'm half tempted to take it to my indie next week to see if they know what it is......will let you know what they say

If you type +grey +wire +Footwell ( including the plus signs) in to the search bar the second result down will tell you all about that grey wire. Suffice to say they are all like that and it's not an issue Defender 90 CSW MY06
