Smoke and no power

Hi, only had my D3 about a month. Test drove really well when i brought it and a great service history. One trip away with my caravan and now its puffing black smoke at every gear change and i cant get it off my 6" deep gravel drive or bump it up my curb without a run up or putting it in the low box. I have spent a few hours reading posts on the site and have removed and pressurized the large intercooler pipe and found no holes. Is my next step the other two pipes and if so are they easy to find Question

The intercooler system is indeed the most likely suspect, so yes look at all other parts including the intercooler itself. As to the ease of finding the leak, well that depends on where it turns out to be.

Thumbs Up

Thanks for the reply Robbie. Turned out to be EGR. All removed and blanked. Loads of power now and just a little smoke. Can't have everything I suppose!
