Loss of power on motorway

Today I was just coming onto the motorway and accelerating going slightly uphill when the car lost power and went into limp mode and "engine fault" flashed up on dash. I pulled up a few hundred yards later plugged in IID tool and got these readings, has anybody any idea ? I cleared faults and have driven another 100 miles with no fault but I have to say it still does not feel just right. It is a little hesitant when accelerating.

My guess, and I stress 'guess', would be an EGR valve on it's way out
 Best Regards,
Dave.

Could be turbo actuator or an air leak between the turbo and the inlet manifold. Any black smoke?

To be fair Steve I did not notice as I was just passing a car in the fast lane when it went. My main priority was to get across 3 lanes of traffic. If it does it again which I hope it doesn't I will check. Thanks.

Mark I would check the fuel pressure at the rear of the engine compartment, it could be a blocked / failing low pressure fuel pump issue.

error code P029A is a Cylinder 1 balance – fuel trim at maximum limit

Flack Thumbs Up

Mick would it be ok to ring you tomorrow as I think the problem I wanted to ask you about originally could be linked to this. Thankyou.

Ha ha I know Steve but it was like that before. That was what prompted me to get them done. It is a very strange fault, it is more prevalent at very slow speeds when you have your foot on the brake and you can feel it pulsing under your foot like its fighting against the brake. It also just avoids stalling when you are at road junctions and put your foot on the gas from the brake whist moving slowly. It has had this fault since I bought the car a year ago and I thought it was the gearbox. But the fault is still there after a new gearbox was fitted in November. I am hoping Mick may be able to give a more definitive answer. I hope you are well Steve Thumbs Up
