Battery flat wont restart (yet)
Hi,
I was camping next to my house with the kids and the disco has gone flat (oops)
Thing is its VERY flat and even after 1hr on a charger is still just clicking at me from the glove box. Do I just need to leave it on change for as long as possible (like a day) or is there likley to be a secondary issue with immobilisation etc ?
The timing is not great as I ideally need the car to tow on Saturday and im now away until Friday lunchtime so I need to know as much as possible before I try to restart it again.
Any info appreciated as always,Disco 3: Lotus Elise S1: Ferguson T20: Audi A2

I think the only way to know for sure is by putting a battery tester on it.

Hi,
Possible good news is that I obviously had my extra-stupid head on this morning and had not plugged in the battery charger
So now it's ACTUALLY charging when I get back to it it might just start!Disco 3: Lotus Elise S1: Ferguson T20: Audi A2

Now you have plugged it in.. it might be a good idea to connect it to the battery now
