Sprinter Jack Adapter
Hi everyone.
Wasn't sure where to post this but figured D3 and D4 owners might be interested so hence the post being here.
Been playing about with Shapr for the iPad and I always find the best way to learn with these things is to do a real project.
Therefore I've had a bash at designing a jack adapter for my Sprinter Jack based on the one that I use on my trolley jack. This is what I've got so far: -
Bottom section is 35mm diameter by 20mm high.
Mid section is 54mm diameter by 15mm high.
Top section is 16mm diameter by 20mm high.
There is a hole for a roll pin to fix the adapter in place.
Heigh of hole is such that the adapter sits on the shoulder of the jack (i.e. roll pin not taking the weight)
I'm going to get one 3d printed and then try it on the jack. If that all works out going to price up getting one turned/made in steel.
Just wondering if anyone had any comments on the design or would be interested in buying one if I had a few made? Might be cheaper piece rate if we did a group buy???
Cheers,

design looks sound to me. I turned a few adapters for guys on here the top part of the design is tried and tested. If you struggle getting a 3d print let me know I could print it and test it, think I still have a sprinter jack somewhere.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

I might be interested in one but wonder if it would be possible to drill a hole in the bottom of a trolley jack adapter making a universal one. Anybody have a view?.
