Slow filling diesel
Hello!
I've been reading several posts regarding slow filling and the misfuel device but I can't find an answer to my questions.
Basically in Argentina it seems that diesel nozzles are different to the ones in the UK, so the misfuel device keeps on getting activated, so I reset it with the tool every time.
But filling the tank is always very slow, no continuous dispense.
So I'm not sure if the misfuel device is causing this and it is the expected behaviour (after filling the tank, it's again on although I had reset it), or it could be something else.
Another question: there's a funnel adaptor used for jerry cans, and I guess this should help, right? Does it work for every vin?
Part number is LR073691 and in one webpage they say it applies to VIN start at FA0000001 and mine is CAxxxx (MY2012).
Anybody used this funnel?
Thanks,
Juan

My D5 was supplied with the funnel as standard. I've never had to use it but I expect it would work for every diesel vehicle as it simply replicated the insertion of a standard diesel pump nozzle.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

If it’s the white funnel that looks like a shewee then it’s for Adblu.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

It's for fuel. If you tried to use it for adblue you'd get very wet feet and still have an empty tank.
