Help required on how to sell
Hello all,
I am going to be selling my Discovery 3 2009 HSE in Buckingham blue this summer (currently waiting on another car on order).
My quandary is, do I remove the additional parts I've fitted to sell them separately and sell the car stock, or do I keep the current add ons and sell as is?
It currently has a flat dog roof rack, safari awn awning and 255 70 r18 wrangler duratracs fitted (see picture).
Any opinions most welcome!
Thanks in advance.
(I don't want to fall foul or forum rules by posting a 'potentially for sale ad', this car will definitely be for sale, I just don't quite know in what form yet. If this is deemed to be against rules, moderators please let me know)

Depends who your target audience is. Post it on here and I’d leave “the bits” on, as enthusiasts appreciate the cost of the bits as well as probably I tend to add them once they’ve bought a D3 anyway. NEVER leave them in if you PX, dealer will most likely strip them off and eBay them, normal buyer on autotrader would likely be looking for a stock car to run the kids round in, so strip it, sell separately.2008 HSE Stornoway Grey
My Wife thinks the D3 is a hobby, The D3 thinks the wife is 💕

Free to sellers and is really hitting the high end car selling industry for six. Lots of room for good stuff like yours.
Worth a try, is free to sell...

I ordered a DS 300e in March and then waited, and waited - and still waiting......(might get it next year I reckon.... FFS! :-{.....
LR asked if I could give up my 2016MY HSE D4 early for a 'better price'.... I did (it was on the forecourt for £6,000 more - expected of course) they had removed the LR side steps (they were rusting away underneath - as they all do... despite me spraying underneath with WD40 or some such every wash) so I would say it depends who your target market is... if its a main dealer I would remove everything ... I removed the dash cam but not the wiring for it (too much hassle) and just left the RLD spare wheel protector... but again couldn't be arsed when I'm spending £55,000 plus on the new car - if and when I ever get the damn thing!
I do miss driving a LR - its been a while now and driving around in my wifes 12 year old Auris Hybrid just does not 'cut it'.... :-{2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

I agree with the above having just sold 2 vehicles recently.....
List it with all extras on here and on autotrader..... you’ll know very quickly if you’re in the game with your price on autotrader.... my van sold in 12 hours!
I would use WBAC immediately to see what they will offer.....I have just sold to “Motorway” who are a wbac competitor and got just over 1k more than wbac offered. (This was a f15 X5).
If you sell to them then obviously strip the car off to stock and list all the parts on here.
It really is a sellers market at the moment!A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.

Thanks for all your comments.
It will go up on here as soon as I finally get a firm delivery date for my new car.
