Smoking, and rich smell of diesel. |
|
Hi, i had the car idleing for some time whilst i was doing some things and loading a trailer. I hooked it up fully weighted and began to reverse, i could see a large amount of smoke and the smell of diesel, no alert messages came up and the smoke has began to clear once driven but rich smell is still exitent. Wondered will it be alrite to tow as we are going on an off road competition tommorow, if so what could it have been.

Low CAT temperatures can give you a good smokescreen for a minute or so, chances are that the smell is still there 'cos you had the windows / tailgate open?
not a problem, more of a 'feature'
