I was the best man to a good mate at the weekend in Devon and I offered use of the Disco as one of the wedding cars.
Cheers Scott.

fitted new Tree sliders, Duratrcacks and cleaned out mud!!!!
Yesterday was a bit of a mare, first it started with changing the front brake pads that my local dealer wanted £200 for with the wear sensor!
Then the plan was to fit my new Tree sliders but this turned into a trim removal exercise to remove all the mud and crud under/in the wheel arches! (very disappointed in the design of this Land Rover!)
Then i finally got the tree sliders fitted

Just drove the 170 miles or so coast to coast, across the fat part of Scotland. Aberdeen to Mallaig with 5 passengers and luggage / provisions for a long weekend.
Through the worst weather I've seen for maybe 10 years, we had it all, severe gales, torrential rain, huge amounts of standing water, snow, sleet, thunder and lightning.
Arrived safe and sound, passengers relaxed, log burner going strong and a bottle of Italian red to relax the driver (me). Very thankful to have been driving the D4 which performed as we all know they do, flawlessly and confidence instilling.

Ha, similar roof box. Best for skis but swallows a lot more than you'd think.

Just returned from first fully loaded family long weekend at Centreparcs in the D4. Plenty of room and nice drive. Gran kids were liking the RSE during the way up, and enjoyed the comfort on the way back (because they were sound asleep).MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

went browsing round IKEA (if thats admissable your honour) - and to show how versatile the D4 is - brought a double bed and mattress, and some other things, and they all went in the back of my D4.
Felt quite smug watching all the folks struggling to get big flatpack stuff into normal cars
