What you doing on the D3 site Pete ???
Surely you should be up to your neck in it getting ready for the Driffield show
No doubt you prefer the 8) approach.

Would you be interested in getting all the parts needed to turn my D3 front end into a D4 like this and doing the job...?
What would the damage be?

I have a pair of vents left out of my parts. Id like £50 for the pair inc vat and uk postage.
one of the vents is new and the other has a very small makr on it as seen in the picture below under the O. It could be left and not realy noticed or both repainted with some wheel silver out of a spray can.

Hi!
Pete Im very impressed with your facelift from disco 3 to 4 , I'm also interested in doing the same thing, but looking to keep the cost down. Could anyone please point me in the right direction; where can i purchased the front bumper, both front and rear lights and stuff; and perhaps the approximate cost. Will highly appreciate any response. Thank you!
Dena.

I have also done the d3 to d4 upgrade, its prity easy.
To save money I used my original d3 wings and just shortend them an inch at the front. I only have the air intake vent on the drivers side but im not bothered by that, I also just painted original arches instead of buying d4 ones. Parts came off eaby and some small bits like washer jets from the dealer.
The only shame is the new xennon headlights came with AFS and cornering lights but cus my car dosent have wiring for AFS or cornering lights they dont work
I would deffanatly say its is worth it (would rather a real d4 with 3.0tdv6 but this didnt cost a lot in comparrison)
hopefully have also increased the future resale value
D3 to d4 conversion DO IT ! ! !

Well, didn't think that could be done, yet this is the second conversion like this I've heard of in a week.
Out of interest, do you have any pics of the wing where you've shortened them?...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
