Talking of LED front indicators, fitted some to my D3 today and have been blown away by actually how good they are.
Amazingly bright and don't cause my relay to click at double speed inside the car.
I can't praise Ian & Co at HIDS4U enough for both the item quality/price and delivery speed!

No not yet mate, not had chance been busy with work n stuff.
I need to take the bulb out and check that its the same as the D3 then its just a case of ordering them up with some resistors.
I think they will look great in the D4 2007 RS4 Avant

I had the indicator bulb out on my Landmark the other day with a view to replacing them for LEDs.
The existing bulb is a 27W halogen that I have never seen before and nor had any of my motor trade buddies. Called a local LR stealer and they said that they aren't a part that is available as a pattern part and that they are £21 each to replace.
Looks like LED is not an option with the connector that's fitted to the light unit without some consideranle modification2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

I'm in the HGV motor trade business supplying parts all over the world - i'll whip one out tomorrow and take some photo's of the bulb.
Sorry been really busy visiting schools open evenings for my lad - not enough hours in the day at the mo but i'm also keen to have front LEDS too.
Believe me if its fitted to the car an alternative replacement can be bought cheaper, the problem is "have LED equivalent bulbs have been developed yet".
I'll contact Bosch, Hella and Ring to id the bulb type tomorrow, then we can search for the LED.2007 RS4 Avant

27w. Interesting, the designation on my D4 is for a PY24W lamp for the front indicator. Has the bulb changed in the recent Landmark models?

To remove the bulbs you need to release the whole headlamp from its steel frame.
Its pretty much the same process of removal as the D3 but the grille is different.
The top releases the same with the push down clips but the bottom has two clips which are difficult to get to compared to the D3 AND I HAVEN'T GOT MY LONG SCREW DRIVER WITH ME AAAARRRRRHHHH
Just seen a video on how to remove - same as RRS

Looks like were knackered IMO the bulb comes complete with the buld holder.
I didn't want to force the bulb from the holder and destroying my bulb but after speaking to LR this afternoon they said on the parts illustration it looks like its complete " oh and they have no stock" LOL
Update *** On the LR disc it shows the bulb as a PSY24W

You'd think they'd be standardising everything, rather than making it all as difficult to replace and bespoke as possible.
I can't see how that helps to keep production costs down - but maybe it's more about increasing revenue from spares! D4 XS MY12 Galway
