If it is not the fuel or battery, it could be one or more glow plugs starting to fail. Seems to happen as engine approaches 100k miles. Do a search on here for some of the challenges of replacing. As an interim measure you may try cycling the the glow plug warming a couple of times. Make sure you turn ignition off after first warming and then on for the second. 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
