prospeeds setup is top notch but pricey a bit
D44 has similar for a bit less
there are few other companies out there but not remotely close to Prospeeds setup
and answer is YES it is useful if you intend to do lots of technical off-roading

ive used my D3 in quite rough places and the under body protection was fine - never had any damage other than the gearbox panel kept needing repair where it bolts to the chassis - its only held on by 2 little screws !!Duncan
