Not starting today
Frosty this morning, showing around -2 but she won't start up! I've only been using it for work and back with heaters and seat warmers going but the battery has always been good.
This morning I turned on the ignition for 5 to see if the FBH would kick in without the engine running - it never so came back to turn it over and it is turning over but not firing into action
Any ideas folks?

Battery on the way out?
If the cranking is slowing then the charge must be dropping in it.In loving memory of FA54WSK.

It's beginning to look like it. Got a charger on it now to try to get it to fire up.
Been quoted £238 for genuine land rover battery from local indie garage. Is that on par with others?

Do a search on here, believe there are better batteries via eurocar parts with a discount code for £80.00

Got a good charge in it now and turning over great but still not firing up! Just clouds of unburnt diesel coming out the exhaust. Could it be the glow plugs?

Horay! Got it fired up under a great cloud of white smoke.
Engine is running rough though, not sure if its fuel or blockage.

Thanks for the replies, will keep an eye on the battery but think it was down to the fuel.
Once I got it started my fuel level dropped to next to Nowt, I almost never made it to the garage. It's running better now with fresh fuel in but dare say I'll have taken a bit out of the battery from cranking it over so much and charging it.
Underside, hidden behind a protection plate inside the chassis on the passenger side at the side of the gearbox / back of the engine, remove the gearbox protection plate, 10mm bolts IIRC.

Was at Whitehaven Gary, back home now thanks to local breakdown company being very quick.
Jump started no bother off his motor but he did say it could be ice in fuel filter. Just about to order a fuel filter and put some charge back into my battery - once I've thawed out!
