Yes... I got a 300w panel from amazon way cheaper... around £140 from memory... it does the job perfectly.
That’s more like it! £500 ish for the full set up is as much as I want to spend.
well you (s60r) must have another "amazon" than i have overhere
a 300 or 400W FOLDABLE panelset of quality cannot be found these days for that kind of money as far as i have seen..
clickbait maybe yes, until you click the actual wanted WATTAGE and there she goes..
400Watt is needed to charge a ordinary auxillarry battery, when a fridge etc. is used on it..
even on very sunny days, there are still clouds mostly ... let alone a few cloudy days during your trip...
i use a snowmaster fridge, reasonably low on current, a twin battery set up (yellowtop), with a solarpanel setup... and believe me... you need serious wattage from the sun when not driving the motor for a few days.. those batterypacks, everybody is talking about, they stil need (re)charge and 100 or 200Watt doesn't do the job with a fridge attached..Best regards
Harold

If you have gone as far as a gas stove, why not a 3-way fridge and use the gas for that too?Dave
