Parked at Edinburgh Airport yesterday, and the car was reading 35c it did drop to a rather chilly 27.
This morning though around 5am the thunder was unbelievable and the rain was like a monsoon.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Well here in Lanark we are still waiting to be “roasted” . Has Never got above 20c today, hardly a heat wave. Put it down to the fact we are under a medieval curse ever since Willie Wallace duffed up 7 English soldiers and started the fight for Scottish independence. Come back Willie we need you.Once you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.

The car was showing 37c as we came past Norwich airport, now sat drinking the only cold beer the campsite shop had. Too hot to be putting the awning up yet!

Just got back from a Dressage competition 34 degrees but inside the school it was a lot hotter than that. Just stood still for the 5 minutes of the test left you dripping. The judge got stung by a wasp about 1 minute into my daughter’s test caught beautifully on video as she let out a loud expletive 🤣DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Despite my protestations I travelled down to London Euston from Liverpool, all was going well until the tracks finally went wobbly south of Rugby, the lines too droopy and and a train had broken down too. I knew this would happen
By the time I got to Euston I figured it's not worth attempting to get to Canary Wharf on the tube as the meeting had well started so am just camped up in the Virgin lounge and will get a train back as soon as everything has calmed down
It's absolute chaos in the concourse below at the momentD4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten
