My advice would be to get both inlet manifolds done at the same time...it's only a matter of time before the other will fail too and while they've got everything off, it'll be cheaper to sort it now!

If one has gone, the other will likely not be far behind
And the cambelt cover has to (almost) come off, so be as well doing belts at the same time...My D3 Build Thread

On the flip side of this, is it worth getting the manifolds/cam covers changed as a precaution at the same time as the belt service?

Thank you for the replies. Naturally, I did the belts at before year seven, last year.
Q. Should the injectors be inspected/replaced as a pre-caution?
Q2. As the EGR is being moved, inspect that?
Anything else?

So my D4 2010 TDV6 3.0 also has the dreaded Restricted Performance message and LR have said both inlet manifolds need to be replaced.
I mentioned the TSB re these parts and the dealer will try speaking to LR Singapore to see if they can help with the cost to replace...but not holding my breath.
If they refuse to help, I will order the parts from the UK.
LR Direct ship here but LR in my country will not give me the latest part numbers or tell me if I need any other parts such as gaskets and sealing kits and to order from LR Direct I need part numbers.
So does anyone have the parts list and numbers for this fix?
Many thanks!
I have a feeling some of these part numbers may have been superseded though???

Why don’t you email Dan at duckworths, and ask him for a price to ship and supply everything for the inlet manifold change. I’m sure he could check with the service / repairs department.

I was one of the lucky on the forum that had a Landrover stealer replace the drivers side plastic manifold foc.
They told me that they had replaced both manifolds when I collected the car, but only one had been replaced.

Both of mine have been replaced in the last 12 months FOC.
It helps to have a cooperative dealer but because my car has been under warranty since new (manufacturers then LR extended warranty) and full main dealer service history LR covered it under the TSB even on a 6.5 year old car.
The dealer told me that they initially try to claim on the LR extended warranty but the warranty company have an agreement with LR that LR cover known problems. So the warranty company formally reject the claim in writing then the dealer requests authorisation from LR CRC to complete the work.
Worked for me....twice...and I had a D5 HSE to play with for a week each time. 8)MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
