Another thing that bugs me more than everything is the off centre rear number plate....ocd in me hates little things like that.

Thats the inspiration for the Discovery 5. In the USA they won't be able to tell them apart. I can hear it "Sir, can you move the explorer" or "is that your explorer?"
at Least the LR3/4 they sometimes call them Range Rovers.

Just seen one of these at Harwoods pulborough, it was a santorini black first edition, looked better in the flesh than in pictures, also better in black than the orange.
That rear end doesn't look right though, needs to have the square number plate of all previous discoverysMY11 D4 HSE Santorini Black

Was there as well last night. Lovely pizza!
Generally liked what I saw but no FBH and if you manually lower the tailgate it crunches into the slidey thing. Also the wheelarch protectors are furry, apparently for better sound deadening.
Much improved sunroof blinds though.

One of the development vehicles (had "prototype vehicle" on the back) in First Edition orange pulled into a garage I was refuelling at. It parked up directly in front of me. Looking at it from behind, it was entirely anonymous. Admittedly it was only under the forecourt lighting but no one gave it a second glance as they walked by. For a brand new vehicle that seems pretty damning to me.
The only thing different to every other SUV was the offset number plate affectation. And that just looked wrong.
If you took the "Discovery" off the back it was totally unrecognisable as a Land Rover.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
