Thanks. Must admit I wasn't looking for white. We replaced a 2010 D4 in Black with Almond interior.
But the white one came up on in a known community and at 30k miles was too good to pass up.
However, I'm getting used to it. Feels more 'lifestyle' in white then 'work horse' that the black one did

Though the Mrs hasn't forgiven me and still keeps suggesting 'wrapping' the white one in black!

I have a black one. i really wanted a white one, however i was overruled.
I feel a pang of envy every time I see one in white.
I prefer the beige interior to black, too.Chris

Over the past few weeks
Fitted Nakatanenga spare wheel carrier. (this immediately got the wife seal of approval when she saw how much of a faff it was to access the spare wheel with a boot full of stuff).
Did 2500KM in comfort over the course of 5 days, including loads of offroading.
Did a day trip to Judahs Thumb (google it) and did loads of offroading.
Got my park brake jammed (due to lack of maintenance) and spent a day and a half fixing it. Chris

Removed the 3rd row seats in preparation for a home-built drawer project. Now i'm wondering whether to remove the carpet in the 3rd row area and replace with dnyamat to give a little more room as the carpet / flooring is quite thick in places.Chris

Fitted Prospeed rear ladder. Unfortunately this doesn’t integrate very well with the rear wheel carrier. I had to fit a 25mm wheel spacer to stop the wheel pressing against the ladder with the wheel carrier closed. I’m not very happy with the fit of this and the way the wheel no longer butts up against the carrier arm. I may need to fabricate a piece of metal between the carrier arm and the tyre.
Removed the boot carpet and replaced with dynamat. This will give a little more storage under the drawers that I’m building.

I'm still to make a start. Rough plan is for the fridge to be on the right-hand side on heavy-duty slides with another set of slides supporting a pull out table. Drawers, one on top of the other on the left. I'm planning on using UHMWPE instead of slides for the drawers to maximise space and save a bit of cost. Theres a good youtube video from someone in Aus that built pretty much exactly what I'm aiming for, albeit for a landcruiser.
I'll definitely post pictures when I have something, but it's probably going to be several months before i make much progress. Chris

4 x RR 20" wheels with 275 x 45 XL 110 V GG AT3 tyres purchased from a forum member,balanced,polished and fitted today.
Destroyed a wheel bearing. Unfortunately even with the new one from Advanced Factors I was unable to split the hub on the roadside. It went on me in Southampton. A big thank you to Deejay K who put me onto West 4x4 as he was cutting the grass at a student let opposite to where I was.
West 4x4 had space and have my car on the ramp within minutes of limping here. Fingers crossed it does not take too long as I need to get myself, SWIMBO and her son's student digs gear back to North Herefordshire today.
Mission accomplished. West 4x4 provided excellent service. Lots of hammering and use of the air chisel follow by a small cheer once it came out. Clearly was not going to come out with limited tools at the roadside.
Safely home and can unpack the car tomorrow.
Regards,
Steve

New main battery
Replaced the main battery on my 2014 D4 yesterday - Exide EK950, so small upgrade on the 90Ah as fitted from new. The old battery was date coded from 2013 so presumably original and served a good innings.
Haven't reset BCM - is that really needed for such a like-4-like swap?, and all appeared OK after resetting clock, electric windows one-touch etc.
Still no SS though, but probably needs a few runs for car to learn the new battery?
I did charge the new battery before fitting.2014 Discovery 4 HSE
