The red landrover wire is permeant live I think you will find.

That then connects to the double yellow connector.

So you already tried that I think

I was thinking there must be one in the loom as I could turn my LR stereo on or off without ignition

This could be an issue if the battery is to be disconnected in the future

Just changed the car play unit now this one I can turn on and off unlike the Sony one
