So, out of interest, why isn't it the correct one?

Hi Pete
No Idea the guy i bought off from Ebay says it will not fit my car the correct one i need is £499
it is still in the post and fingers crossed it gets here tomorrow and i will try it out
i have the older sytem or display in my car not the big full size screen like the sat nav models have so this may be why so i thought i would search the internet for the wires to see if it can be connected that way

It’s usually the ones with the amp under the seat and/or colour display that require the
Expensive loom.
Wiring diagrams are on here somewhere

Hi yes I believe there is an amp I have found a bypass cable for the speakers but it’s listed for a D3 as can’t find anything for the D4 so going to contact them tomorrow to see if it’s the same

so been looking at doing the same with mine but I think there has to be a remote wire coming from either the back of the cd unit or the number pad that fires up the amp when switched onD4 GS let the retro fit begin
