I mean, c’mon. 
LR's biggest customer base is China and the US and they're mostly not looking for serious off roaders. They want big, comfy, safe, get-them-there family wagons. LR will design stuff that sell there over stuff that a few die-hard Landy fans on internet forums want. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
