Cured  It would not go though reset procedure as battery voltage was too low (12.2v) I noticed it second time I plugged 11D tool in. I charged it for a while and bingo !

Hello Everybody
I have disco3 HSE 2006 .
Issue : Sunroof opened by itself and not closing .
I have tried the following so far.
Charged Battery to full.
20sec front sunroof button reset done but didn't work.
I disconnected batteries and let charge out to reset computer. No results.
Only other issue with my car is service indicator isn't reset and show 100 days overdue.
I serviced from local garage who hasn't reset the service indicator.
I am not sure if this is related to it.
Please recommend a good Garage in Loughborough .

Sunroof on D3 2006 HSE stopped working.. used the Woody Caliberation.. back to normal in 20 secs...

Brilliant !!!
I'm having issues with both the "usual" central locking fobs not working and also a non working sunroof. I've just tried the sunroof fix as described above .......and that's one problem sorted out easily. Thanks so much.
The near side of the cabin is now stripped down and litres of water extracted from carpets...........three wire splice found and I'm about to attempt to sort the central locking issue. Fingers crossed that it'll be as easy as the sunroof (I'm hoping, but not holding out too much!).

Calibration worked for me too 
I started reading the Owners handbook and I noticed it does mention it in there. *D3 V8 SE Blue 2004 on LPG with Rock sliders, roof rack/Ladder, snorkel, 275/65x18 STT Muds, engine/G/box ally protection.
*D2 TD5 Epson Green 2002 Off roader (weekend toy)
*D3 V8 HSE silver 2004 on LPG (Wife's) SOLD
*Maserati Gran Turismo, the Gentlemans cruiser with a V8 soundtrack.

Thread resurrection... sunroof on my 2006 HSE stopped working.
Googled, found this thread, tried it - and many thanks to Woody - the 20sec reset worked.
