That’s the reason I’ve only ever used the Chunnel (apart from when it has fires) and drive up & down through France. I have found getting to sleep helps, I feel yuck before and ok after. Hope Deb isn’t too bad.

Back into British waters with about an hour to go before we get off. It has just been announced that due to traffic in the port we will dock 15 mins late. Deb a bit better but hoping she sleeps on the away home so there will be no fuss collecting Foxwing from Berkshire It’s a bit of a drive back to Burnley from here via Crawshore but I have had plenty of rest so all should be ok 👍

Very much so thankyou I think It will the cars last foray onto foreign soil (except Wales and Scotland of course) as he joined the 170.000 mile club somewhere around Oxford last night. I don't really want to risk it anymore
We have also made the decision to sell the roof tent and annex and just use my new to me foxwing and our Rv4. I.m not sure what will happen for our hols next year but I know that i will be driving somewhere in something (But sadly not in Lenny) A motorhome maybe ?? I wish
Anyway we did just short of 2000 road miles averaged 29.2mpg and about 750 nautical miles. Visiting Belgium,Luxembourg,France and Northern Spain. The car was fantastic and the only fault was that one of the resisters for the D4 rear lights packed up or the wire broke. Thats it. Roll on summer 2019

WELL DONE!!!
....think that D3 is in good hands!!!, I do not know why you think such a thing, I sincerely believe that you could go back where you want with it! mine crossed yesterday the barrier of 288,000 km, last summer toured much of France and via ferrie we arrived in Ireland and we gave a nice complete tour, NI included, to that green wonder and still continues...and this summer, we traveled from Asturias all the center and south of Spain, including Gibraltar .... there is always something British in my travels , they were almost 5000 km with an intense heat in the south.... and will continue without doubt or will die in the field of course!! lost in translation!
