It’s the first time we have seen rain down here. We will venture out this afternoon
This is the view from our tent. Better in the sunshine

Looks amazing!
I was going to ask you about the roof tent when I called round, the photos look like a brilliant setup!2010 Disco 4 HSE

Had to take action as the storm has hit quite hard. Lots of thunder and lightning. I have battened down the hatches and have put a tarp over the roof tent ( quite a challenge in the heavy rain) as we had a little leak where the roof tent meets the outer cover but It’s sorted now.
My wife and myself living the dream in the south of France 😂
I bet she will take some convincing for next year. I just hope the bloody car doesn’t break down as that will just about put the tin hat on it. Happy camping The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Still looks great to me Mark - definitely better than circumnavigating the M60!!
I agree Richard 👍 Went for a walk this afternoon when weather bucked up a bit. It’s a lovely place in any weather.
Our campsite is just to the right near the yellow sun loungers.
This the the river Tarn that flows through the gorge. It is joined by a smaller river here at the bridge.

Sun finally out. I have made a few mods as I can’t sit still. I have sorted our camp kitchen out and used the RV awning connected plus solar fly to make a side wall for our HM awning. Also set solar panel up to trickle charge batteries ( as the car will not move now for 4 or 5 days) I have my Ctec to charge it up on the last day ready for our Spain trip. Deb doing what she does best, sunbathes 😉
