This is an excellent guide from Robbie from the forum, a fantastic guy, might be worth having his guide to hand for either yourself or who’s going to look at it for you. Doubtful if a dealer or Indy would go to the lengths Robbie does as they would probably just replace the unit.
Cheers

Minus 1 C this morning and all's well, fired up and surprisingly little smoke but was whining away like a little jet engine.

Minus 3 and half a tank of fuel. Not sure how long it should take to fire up but after a few mins still nothing. A few days ago there was a small puff of smoke but not even getting that now.
Does anyone know what fuse to pull to try and cure ?.
If after doing that will need to get it reset/fixed somewhere as don't have an iid.

Yip, activated timed climate this week with my new IID BT and after a false start due to low battery this morning it worked to provide a warm car for the return journey from work.
Still to install the Bodsy supplied remote kit.
Great addition to a car, my first vehicle to have such a thing.Prev: 2015 D4 HSE Corris Grey

Used mine Saturday via the remote for 15mins and then noticed 5 mins into my journey that the remote was still flashing.
Is that normal until fully up to temp?Last of the D4 HSE...

Apologies if it has been covered. My FBH definitely comes on - I can hear it, like the sound of a hair drier (when I used to use one lol). But there isn't any of the smoke people talk about or indeed no signs of any heat from the FBH.
The actual car heats up quickly and the air con is hot within 2 miles of home.
A jiggered FBH or is there a simple fix? Or is this normal?

Fuel Burner Unit - when engine warm?
Should the FBH activate and smoke when engine warm and been driven 7 miles. My wife thought car was on fire in the pub car park when she was out tonight. Temp has dropped below 5 degrees and know it is useful on start ups on cold mornings but should it vent when you have just parked up and driven 7 miles? Cheers

The engine will use the FBH to maintain correct running temperature even when the engine is running.

Mine runs but doesn’t produce any smoke either. It warms up fine. Hope this is normal and I haven’t got a blocked exhaust
