Enjoyed the end but test match cricket is monumentally boring beyond belief, painful tedium on a whole new level.
Always nice to get one over the aussies however. Mods:

Based only on the thread title....The Aussies stole the game from themselves. In desperation, losing your 2nd review to an LBW shout that wouldn't have hit another set of stumps.....

The drop in the deep - a difficult chance admittedly - or the missed run out of Leach could also be said to have lost it. It's the sum of all of the moments and decisions that make the result.
Have to say that the umpiring has been pretty poor on the whole this series. Sadly, the decent umpires are British and Australian so our matches get the dross. Sure, they're on the elite panel but they seem out of their depth.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult is must be to umpire a match at that level. Or indeed how it’s humanly possible!2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Aussies did the England trick - snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Well played Stokes - enough control and aggression to keep the Aussie bowlers guessing, coupled with a bit of luck.Rob Smith
