been offered new (march delivery) D4 xs
chop in my march 2011 xs (12000 miles) for new (same spec) D4
price to change £5.4 k

we swapped our March 2011 HSE for a new 2012 model HSE 2 weeks ago.
Our March 11 HSE had 14k on the clock.
The new 2012 model had a few more options like heated steering wheel and adaptive lights.
Price to change was £5,300.00
Was a no brainer as the old car needed a service soon and needed taxing in 2 months, so I reckon the change cost me about 4.5k

Getting a GS for 1st March same spec as my March 2010 GS with 25000mls,cost to shift is £6600,also have a Jaguar XF 3.0d which is due to be changed July 2009 22000mls and the dealers are looking for £20k to change,i think i will have to change breed on that one.

Had a trip to one of my Local Dealers (south Glasgow). trade in offered was £500 more than WBAC.com and not even a sniff of discount on list price of the XS with bits I was considering. I was unimpressed - there was not even a suggestion that the salesman wanted to sell.....
With Delivery dates in March, it is not as if there is a glut of orders by the looks of things.
Off to try the north Glasgow dealer now.

deal was with Harwoods Basingstoke - beat others by 1 k
the March 2010 XS will be available from 21/2 if anyone wants 1st dibs
