Spoke to Karl this PM . He is happy now re the movement and has 5 carriers on order . He said that if anyone else wanted one they should contact him ASAP so that they can be done in the same order. Price is about R6500 plus installation

How is it fitted and stabilised.
It looks as if it attaches to body at rear and not to the bootlid.
Pictures or more info available?
BRS has the Defender fitting pictured : will this be converted for D3?

Fits onto the back bumber and there is some sort of bracing underneath - didn't get a good look at it .
I think it is a completely new design - so it's nothing like the defender one . I will give Karl a call later this week to hear how far they are with it

The main reason we need the rear wheel carrier is because of the long range tank!
Why didn't they think of that? I mean why would anyone fit the rear wheel carrier of they don't have the long range tank fitted?
Spoke to Karl - he is waiting for stock, but Heine is next, then hopefully me!

Yup kinda one of those real DOH moments - but I believe the car used for the development didn't have a tank fitted and they only clicked when the next one had
