Went to the Getaway show today and saw the new carrier from BRS . Karl is not sure of exact pricing yet , but he said he should have something on his website by the end of the week

I was there as well - very impressed with these guys' (BRS) commitment and passion for Land Rover marque and associated accessories.
Will book my vehicle in tomorrow for Genesis battery management system and to purchase tow hitch ( maybe Baben has forgotten that I still have his !!!)
BTW - I believe BRS is acronym for "Bentley, Rolls Royce Sales and Service" - makes you think doesn't it ???

Looks like we were all there!Karl did mention he saw heine.
I missed the pub - probly why i didn't see you 2
i have always said BRS are good karl won't fit something he can't support.
I told him to order me the carrier too. we will need it. I was a bit concerned about the flex in the bumper, but we will just have to see what happens when we take it to Bots or Angola soon.

Well the bar was closed & latched, and pulling it back & forth, and it is able to rock front & back quite easily.
This is with a wrangler on. The Coopers & other offroad tyres are about 10kg heavier, so it would exacerbate the situation.
In my experience anything that can move, will break when in the bush.
I will have a look at it close-up once I get Karl to do the installation. Maybe there are ways to brace the unit better in the vertical plane - ie. get it to contact the horizontal face of the bumper somehow

Not sure he was convinced, but I know he will check it out. He won't fit something he will regret, and he knows what kind of yahoo's he's dealing with (us)

Well, identifying the type of yahoo you are dealing with is very important.........
Oh, hang about, you meant the bit about not fitting something he would regret?
