OK
Well good luck with fitting them - I am sure to remember the Koni's for future ? The no warranty might be the big problem for now... but as we know the motorplan/guarantee does not last for ever ...... Nico

Will not need shocks, thanks - unless I have to wait until warranty expires for LR shocks

Atacama, what was your trade-in price on the V8? I have been thinking about the same thing for next year. Frontrunner roofrack and ladder. Optima yellow top. National Luna dual battery system. Bridgestone Dueler D694 A/T.

I'd be lying if I said I haven't being having similar thoughts - especially with the huge price differential in fuel prices

Oh my goodness!
I have 62 000 kms (same model year) and was expecting around R340 000 trade-in on a R500 000 V8. OUCH
I am clearly keeping this a lot longer than I intended - particularly in this economic climate. Must say though that since my fuel pump, injectors, fuel tank and pump replacements the Landy is running beautifully. I just service every 12 000 kms and replace fuel filter every time.
Now that that decision has been made I feel much better. Frontrunner roofrack and ladder. Optima yellow top. National Luna dual battery system. Bridgestone Dueler D694 A/T.

The little book of words SAys retail at 350 and trade at 310.
mmmm 310 - 280 = 30 . Might that be the 30 K discount on the new V8 ?
I have always done a 12000 km oil change. my kak always from fuel. will go the funnel route
