Reliability, value for money, synovate 2nd place ..........? |
|
Ok , so after a visit to Baben's and Heine's friends at Midrand LR - they reckon shocks are gone..........., "lower arms" bushes gone........., maybe engine mountings suspect ...........
This D3 has done 55k km's with only one serious off road trip. Fuel starvation/filter block/fuel pump issue not totally resolved yet - why would I have to believe that Land Rover has sorted out its reliability issues
Will include these latest problems in a letter to - I believe is now called - "Jaguar, Land Rover South Africa" to try and ascertain how they get to these "reliability results".
Atacama, Sandlover - I will send you PM with a copy of letter to the JLRSA gurus Erstwhile - D3 S '07. Dual battery system. Upgraded tow hitch. Mantec skid plate. Frontrunner rr. Tmax double headed built in compressor

I saw Nico and Dewalt yesterday (dropping off RRS wheel for repair - don't take any vehicle with 20" wheels offroad, especially if your father-in-law is driving) and they mentioned that you had popped in. They confirmed the shocks etc are goners. I believe you get a lot further with these guys than you will anywhere else, especially if your attitude is right. I think most of their customers bitch and moan at them all day, so once in a while when a reasonable guy talks to them they listen

Glad to report after 63k , no hassles whatsoever . Maybe it's the type of driving , mine has been mostly long distance with a fair amount of dirt roads. Maybe she don't like rush our traffic

I agree if it was not for Nico allot of things in my 5 discos I had would have been more painful thx to these few that make a difference.
Tea party with them sounds cool, Just don’t make a bet on the count that will pitch. When you arrive late everyone is excited to see you just to find out later that it is not your personality but that you swung the count thx Heine not even 3 J&D could fix that. White LR3 TDV6 2007
