I've also been working on the 3 litre TDV6... managed to get all four wheels spinning from a standing start on the first 'real-world' test - no numbers as yet until I get one on a dyno 8)

Pete can you confirm the box can be re-used in the D4 please?
Up to now my BAS box does not support the new Bosch system in the D4 sorry.
@10forcash, What system are you using to program the new ECU on the D4 ? Is AL covering these yet ?

Further developements over the last few weeks almost confirms sadly that my existing BAS box wont work on the new 2010 TDV6 3.0L, unless we can find a work arround.
The tools/hardware used to program the new type ecus are going to be totally different to what is currently available,
once the tuning is complete and perfected using the bench method, we will be working on a new dedicated D4/RRS product directly with a current tool making company that will program these cars just like the bas box does at the moment.
I think the new box will be some time in the completion but remaps on there own should be available from the beginning of December this year
We are hopefully on the dyno this Thursday doing some more tests,
We are pleased we are probabaly one of the vey first to do this tuning because of the complex algoritham needed to correct the chq sum on the modifyed file that is currently not yet publicly available.
Let alone reading and writing by working out how to get past the Tricore processors security and anti tuning protection.

Good luck with testing
