Hi Guys, my compressor was replaced yesterday - something to do with the exhaust valve being stuck.
I kept the old one and was wondering if it can be brought back to life (therefore a handy spare to have around) or have I just got a very dusty (and expensive) paper weight?
Any thoughts?

Anton,
I think the valve setup in the compressor is made of some high temp rubber or such like material.
Top end kits are available for them, its just a matter of dismantleing the head of the compressor and all will be revealed.
Cheers
Rob
PS. LR mechanic told me this and recomended for realy remote trips to take a kit and that it was rather self explainerty once the head was off. MY05 TDV6 SE, dirt colour, Now cremated !!!!!!!

Many thanks Rob!
If anyone can point me in the right direction to get the schematics for the compressor I'll have a white collar crack at it (I have nothing to lose). Cairns Blue 05 TDV6 SE. Stock standard with a wish list a mile long. ARB Deluxe Bull Bar Ordered !
