From what i see (as a non owner/non experienced person) the main difference to the user (that would be the D3 owner) is that the Faultmate has to be operated by yourself, so you have to be aware of what your doing. And with the autologic comes a guy with the experience and knowledge to operate it "properly and responsibly"
